I decided it was time to do a small reset for my body as I have been baking and cooking up a storm lately and my sugar cravings are at an all time high which is never good.  I have also been having more and mores stomach issues again and since I’m eating lots of different things I’m not even sure what is triggering it anymore.  I decided to do a 5 Day Sugar Detox challenge which for me is a Mini Whole30 round, since Monday’s are usually my meal prep days I thought it would be best to start my detox on Tuesday through Saturday this week.  I have outlined my weekly menu this week to reflect my meals and snacks to get me through the whole week.  All my recipes are from two of my favorite Whole30 Cookbooks Fast and Easy and Slow Cooker, I will post my food daily of what I will be eating and cooking for that day in my Facebook group.  All these recipes are also clean and paleo friendly so they are all heathy and easy to cook for weekly family meals.  I know it will be a long week as I never like detoxing from sugar but I know it’s what I need to get myself back on track.  Hope everyone has a very happy and healthy week!

What a crazy week last week it was for us here in Texas, with limited power the whole week it was very difficult to make healthy meals for the whole week.  I did make easy stuff like hot oatmeal, Turkey sandwiches, fresh fruit, eggs and chicken sausage.  It was hard for me not to cook throughout the week as I love being in my kitchen cooking and baking so when we finally got power back and the house back in order the first I did was create this weeks meal plan.  I found recipes for things I already had in my house as many grocery stores are running short of items.  I just had to find some fresh produce and I was golden, which I was able to find everything I needed to get us through this week.  I happy to get back on a schedule and get all my meals planned out and prepared for the week.  As you can see based on my recipes above I used all my meal plan from Clean Food Crush as I always love her recipes.  Some of them I took the meat out to make meatless meals as my older daughter is vegetarian or I will plan to make the meat on the side for the rest of us who want some.  Hope everyone has a fantastic week and have fun healthy cooking this week!!!!
